James rosenquist is an American artist who combines both pop art and fine art. He creates his work using techniques such as silkscreen printing and collage.
His collages are composed in a way that the individual objects make sense together and tell a story. His print 'president elect' uses the image of Kennedy's face from his campaign poster, which is another example of appropriation. Rosenquist said he was interested in people who advertise themselves.
It's perfect
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm struggling to hold back .... But what did he say ????.
ReplyDeleteThis is not a 'Collage' of James Rosenquist (1933 - 2017), but a mixed made with a picture of John Ritter (called "Homage to President Elect, Obama" in 2009), that blends this same picture with masterpiece of 1961/1964, James Rosenquist 'presidential elect' !!!!!.
For this reason, J. Rosenquist has nothing to do except for the misfortune of being in the computer age, where a 'clown' has fun to mix a masterpiece with a banal picture...
But the point is also that Rosenquist did not 'collages' (and here, from what's written, it looks like this !) but 'painted' his masterpieces, oil or acrylic, other than 'Collage' !!!.
But, above all, no picture of James Rosenquist ... is it clear and simple no ?????.
A bit of modesty and respect (especially from an American !!) for the genial artist 'Pop', also seen that he's just died this year !!!!. Tank you.
